It's with great sadness that I must inform you of Azusa's (age 18) passing on June 2 from acute respiratory distress. Her dad, Toshinubu is the director of the Japanese Kabuki network and one of my earliest contacts. Since I know that many of you will wish to send your condolences, below is his address:

Dear ozeki San and family, I am really shocked to read this and I feel really very sorry for you and your family!! My deepest thoughts are with you right now. I just looked at the pictures attached and I know that she was a really happy girl despite her disease! I hope these pictures remind you of the happy times she gave you and your wife and her sister!! I am thinking of you and I will light a candle in the church for her soul. Thank you for telling me and sharing your feelings with me. I am really sorry and I feel with you.
